PUBLIC EDUCATION

Georgia APCO strongly believes that public education is a key factor to the success of public safety efforts.  By educating our citizens, we feel that we can prepare people for what may happen during an emergency and educate them on safety precautions which may prevent emergencies from occurring. Call 911 for Emergencies - an informative brochure which covers dialing 911 from various locations such as home, work, public pay phones and while using your cellular phone.

Calling 911 Using a TTY/TDD - a brochure designed for deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired citizens which provides guidelines to follow when calling 911 during an emergency.
